''Oliver Ho’s post-rock/synth noise project Slow White Fall, established itself with 2 bleak and ritualistic records for Downwards, the home of alternative electronics run by Regis aka Karl O’Connor. BBC6 Radio-Music’s Steve Lamacq commented on the sound, describing the high pressured noise minimalism as “doing nothing and everything in 5 minutes”. Having debuted the Slow White Fall live show at the legendary Berlin Atonal event, the sound and intensity of the project has evolved and grown.
Exploring the space between ambient, post-rock and death metal, Oliver released the full length album, Flesh In The Modern Age in 2021, taking in wider sonic ideas. In 2023 came the album Flood on Avalanche Recordings, the label of Justin Broadrick, legendary member of Godflesh. Joining Justin’s label was a natural progression and the perfect place for the music to develop and grow. The album pushes further into heavier sonic realms, with dense distortion and doom laden ambient electronics.
Every new chapter of Slow White Fall, is a reflection of Oliver Ho’s singular passions and obsessions, a search for a sound that is both crushing and transcendental''
