'paper thin walls' is a homage to the proximity to sound experienced while living in communal buildings and housing blocks, particularly in England, especially in London.

Amplifying movement, community, culture, and sonic resistance. Observing the land, questioning thresholds and ownership; 'paper thin walls' is an example of sound knowing no boarders.

A celebration of the sonic diversity heard in capital cities, the influence that that has had on their music scenes and sub-cultures, afforded to the bedroom producers living in such close quarters to 'uncles' speakers.

It is a rejection of the fascist gangrene that plagues our society like the damp slowly penetrating the malfunctioning cladding that covers the external walls of our communal dwellings. It is deep listening to fragments of conversation, radio broadcast, and speaker boxes murmurings through the inadequate partitions that these blocks offer us.

The sonic architecture of an inner city estate, incubating the multitude of cultures one is exposed to when growing in these spaces.
