Takeshita is a Harsh Noise project by Seattle's Tim Burkland (who also runs the Imploding Sounds label).

Tim has been a loyal supporter of AAD these past few years and it's my honor to finally release something by one of his projects (well, aside from his appearance on the "Hidden Promulgation" compilation).

He has various projects that I enjoy but this is by far his most maximalist and chaotic that I've heard...which makes perfect sense given it's main influence is professional wrestler Konosuke Takeshita.

The sound is dense, fast and relentless...but almost fun in it's energetic tantrum. The dynamics are all over the place -- the highs, lows and everything in between are all going hard in the red at all times.
