Brutalist buildings are characterised by minimalist constructions that showcase the bare building materials and structural elements over decorative design.

The compilation is the first step to an ongoing collaboration with THE PEOPLES PAVILION, a project by Emily Birkett, a curator, writer and brand consultant, the founder of New Journo

The Peoples Pavilion is a research project documenting the public opinion of Victor Pasmore's Apollo Pavilion in the New Town, Peterlee.
